~ Combining my background and interests, I began freelance writing after working in a variety of business settings, including a local newspaper. I’ve interviewed authors and artists, doctors, designers, CEOs and chefs. For the past 12 years I have written for publications and corporate clients on projects that include marketing materials, advertorials, case studies, press releases, newsletters and website content.
My articles have appeared in Adventure Cyclist, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, At Home Tennessee, Blue Ridge Country, Bristol Herald Courier, Chattanooga Magazine, DeSoto, Elite Equestrian, Golf for Women, Healthy Travel, Marquee, M.D. News, Roanoke Times, Tri-Cities Business Journal, The Tennessean, Virginia Living, Womens’ Adventure, Johnny Jet and several online travel publications.
I studied French at Queens College and earned an MBA at West Virginia University, always with a passion for the “craft” of language. I love word-smithing and cut & paste as much as rearranging the furniture. But most important, I like drawing out people’s stories. Writing is all about the angle, and for me, it is yet another angle for embracing life’s adventures.
